Engrish

Non ve ne avevo ancora parlato? Questo fantastico sito, Engrish, è una raccolta di foto di cartelli, etichette, magliette, menù, manuali, e di tutto ciò che mostra un uso creativo, originale, improprio, mal tradotto e mal scritto della lingua inglese nei paesi asiatici... solitamente con effetto altamente comico!

How can it be that I haven't posted about it yet? This fantastic web site, Engrish, is a collection of pictures of signs, labels, shirts, menus, manuals and of anything showing poor translation, misspelling, and rather creative, original, or improper use of English in Asian countries... usually with a very comic outcome!

Icanhascheezburger

Oggi un post al volo con una tipica foto da Icanhascheezburger (tema: fisica): l'idea è di prendere foto di gatti (e a volte altri animali) e aggiungere una didascalia sgrammaticata di quello che certamente il gatto starà pensando (perché noi sappiamo che è così, no?). Ne pubblicherò sicuramente delle altre in futuro.

A quickie post with a typical pic from Icanhascheezburger (topic: physics): the basic idea is to take photos with cats (and sometimes other animals as well) and add a mispelled caption of what the cat is certainly thinking (because we know it is so, don't we?). I will certainly publish more in the future.

Stuck in Customs

Non posso fare a meno di segnalarvi il bellissimo blog fotografico di Trey Ratcliff, Stuck in Customs.

Ci sono talmente tante belle foto che è veramente difficile scegliere quale mostrarvi... per ora ve ne mostro un paio, ma credo che di tanto in tanto ne posterò qualcun'altra.

La sua tecnica preferita è l'HDR, che spiega ampiamente nel suo tutorial.

There are so many such beautiful photos that it's really hard to choose which one to show you... for now I'll show one or two, but I really think that I'll post other ones from time to time.
